Im Rahmen einer Residency auf der 1927 erbauten Cabane de l’A Neuve in den Schweizer Alpen wurde die auf 2.735 m gelegene Berghütte temporär von einem leuchtenden Kreis überfangen. Für die Installation wurde eine Konstruktion auf dem Dach montiert, an der ein kleine Lichtquelle oberhalb des Gebäudes kreisen konnte. Durch eine Langzeitbelichtung verdichtete sich die Bewegung des Lichts in der Fotografie zu einem leuchtenden Halo über der Hütte. Die Intervention brachte für einen kurzen Moment Architektur, Landschaft und Nachthimmel in Beziehung. Geblieben sind Fotografien, die diese flüchtige Konstellation festhalten.

During a residency at the Cabane de l’A Neuve, a mountain hut built in 1927 in the Swiss Alps, the building at 2,735 meters above sea level was temporarily crowned by a luminous ring. The ascent to the hut was made on foot; during the stay it became both a place of retreat and a starting point for the development of new works. For the installation, a simple structure was mounted on the roof, allowing a small light to rotate above the building. Through long exposure, its movement condensed into the appearance of a glowing halo hovering over the hut. The intervention briefly connected architecture, landscape, and night sky. What remains are photographs that preserve this fleeting constellation.
